Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama, the member of parliament for Yendi, has given Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia a brand-new Mitsubishi pickup truck in support of the vice president’s bid for the presidency in 2024.
Farouk Aliu Mahama, who has publicly endorsed Dr. Bawumia, says he is backing his support by donating the high-performing vehicle for his campaign. As campaigning for the 2024 elections heats up, Bawumia is widely expected to win the NPP’s nomination.
The vehicle will support the Bawumia 2024 campaign’s operational efforts in the country’s Eastern Corridor, which comprises, among other constituencies, Yendi, Bimbila, Zabzugu, Wulensi, and Kpandai.
The Yendi MP has already given the car a brand by emblazoning it with images of Dr. Bawumia and the campaign slogan “Next To Lead.”
Farouk Aliu Mahama is a tough member of parliament who has used his victory in the last two elections to make the Yendi constituency into a stronghold for the NPP.
Together with other MPs, he has committed to utilize their collective might to support and assure Dr. Bawumia’s resounding win in the upcoming NPP primaries.
In the meanwhile, Dr. Bawumia is due to go before the party’s vetting committee to examine presidential candidates.
